Meetings & Education
We run regular meetings to support communication, clinical quality, and professional development.
Monthly – Whole Team Meeting (Thursday)
All staff are expected to attend. These usually run from 12:15pm to 1:00pm and are paid.
Monthly – Clinical Meeting (Thursday)
All clinical team members are expected to attend. These usually run from 12:15pm to 1:00pm and are paid.
Fortnightly – Peer Group (alternating Mondays/Tuesdays)
For doctors and nurse practitioners. This meeting is not paid, as it forms part of professional registration requirements. The group is registered with RNZCGP for CPD.
Please provide your details to Rachel so you can be added to the group. Participation in this peer group contributes to your CPD requirements and reduces the need to complete this outside of work hours, unless you choose to do so.
Sick Leave – What To Do If You’re Unwell
If you’re unwell and unable to come in to work, please message the work WhatsApp group as soon as possible. This allows the reception team to make the necessary template changes and rebook patients.
If you’re uncomfortable posting in the group, please message either Rachel or the Practice Manager for the relevant clinic directly.
Annual Leave & Time Off
We encourage all staff to take regular annual leave.
Annual leave requests should be submitted via Microsoft Teams → Shifts → Requests → New Request. Once approved, the leave will automatically flow through to the clinic shift calendar. This process helps keep rosters accurate and reduces back-and-forth for everyone.
